I am a native of Silver City, NM where I
graduated from high school. I also graduated from Brigham Young Univ. where I
majored in sociology and minored in Spanish. I spent two years in South America
(Peru & Colombia) as a missionary for our Church. It was during my
upbringing and the time I spent in S.A. that I learned to love the Hispanic
people, their culture, and their language. I spent 25 years of my adult life
teaching Spanish in public schools in Arizona, Colorado, Montana, and
California.
I have been married to my wife
Yvonne for 41 years and we have 8 children and 9 grandchildren and we feel
family is what life is all about. Everything else is just icing on the
cake.
When we moved here in 2006 I
really fell in love with the beauties of nature that we are right in the middle
of. There are a lot of beautiful things the other places we've lived, but
nothing can compare to the variety that exists here. We can enjoy being on top
of a 14,000 ft. peak or in the bottom of a deep red rock canyon or anywhere in
between. I love it all and try to capture it all with a camera. I'm so grateful
for the development of digital cameras. I couldn't afford to have everything
developed that I snap a photo of.
I love sharing what we have
here with anyone anywhere. I hope to soon have a web site where I can do that
more efficiently.
